FAQ

Questions, answered properly

Who can purchase from Power Peptide UK?

All products are sold strictly for laboratory research to institutions, laboratories and qualified professionals. By purchasing you confirm the products will not be used for human or animal consumption, and that you are 18 or over.

What does "research use only" actually mean?

It means the compounds are supplied as reference material for in-vitro laboratory work — receptor studies, assay development, analytical chemistry — not as medicines, supplements or anything intended for administration. Several compounds in this catalogue are investigational or prescription-only substances, which is exactly why the line matters.

How pure are your peptides?

Every released batch is verified at ≥98% purity by high-performance liquid chromatography, with identity confirmed by mass spectrometry. The figures are batch-specific, not catalogue claims.

How do I request a certificate of analysis?

Find the batch code on your vial and send it to us via the contact page. We reply with the certificate for that exact batch — chromatogram, purity calculation, molecular weight confirmation and test date. Available before you order, too.

How should peptides be stored?

Lyophilised (freeze-dried) material is stable for years at −20°C sealed, and tolerates ambient temperature only for short transit windows. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8°C and use within the window noted on the product page. Compound-specific guidance is in every product's specification table.

What is bacteriostatic water and why do I need it?

It is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative — the standard reconstitution medium for lyophilised peptides, because the preservative allows a vial to be accessed more than once. Plain sterile water for injection is single-use. We stock it alongside the range.

How fast is delivery?

Orders are dispatched from UK stock, typically within 48 hours, and arrive within 2–4 working days by tracked delivery. Packaging is discreet and temperature-appropriate, with no product names on the outer box.

How do payments work?

Checkout uses secure bank payment (open banking) — you approve the payment directly in your own banking app. Nothing is stored on our servers and there are no card details to compromise.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. Because of the nature of research materials we can't accept returns of opened vials, but unopened items can be returned within 14 days — get in touch first for authorisation.

Do you offer bulk or bespoke packages?

Yes. The Research Bundle products cover common configurations, and we quote bespoke multi-compound packages for laboratories running complete protocols. Contact us with your requirements and quantities.

Can you advise on how to use a compound?

No — and treat any supplier who will as a warning sign. We supply research materials and their documentation. Product pages summarise the published research literature for reference; they are not usage advice, and we cannot provide any.

Which compounds should a lab start with?

That depends entirely on your research area. The catalogue is organised by mechanism — metabolic, repair, cognitive, endocrine, longevity — and each product page describes what the published literature investigates. Our research briefing is a readable overview of the whole field.
