Power Peptide UK started with a certificate that didn't add up. Our founder was sourcing research material for a small UK lab and asked a supplier — a big one, with a slick website — for the certificate of analysis behind a batch. What came back was a PDF with no batch number, a test date eighteen months old, and a purity figure that never changed no matter which compound you asked about. It wasn't a certificate. It was a prop.
That experience turned out to be the rule, not the exception. The research peptide market is full of resellers who have never seen the inside of a laboratory — material of unknown origin, documents recycled between batches, and no way for the researcher at the end of the chain to verify any of it. For anyone whose work depends on knowing exactly what is in the vial, that isn't an inconvenience. It invalidates the work.
What we set out to fix
So we built the supplier we couldn't find: every batch HPLC verified to ≥98% purity, identity confirmed by mass spectrometry, a batch code printed on every vial, and a certificate of analysis for that specific batch available to anyone who asks. Not a sample certificate. Not last year's. Yours.
We hold stock in the UK and dispatch from the UK — because a lyophilised peptide tolerates a short transit window, and a fortnight in a customs warehouse is not a short transit window. Orders leave in discreet, temperature-appropriate packaging, typically within 48 hours.
Who we serve
Our customers are UK laboratories, research institutions and qualified professionals studying some of the most interesting compounds in modern biochemistry — tissue repair signalling, metabolic receptor pharmacology, mitochondrial peptides, neurotrophic factors. Their work deserves reference material they don't have to take on faith.
Everything we supply is for laboratory research only. We're upfront about that line because it protects the integrity of the research this field depends on — and because a supplier who is vague about it is telling you something about their other standards too.
If a supplier can't produce the certificate for your batch, that is itself the answer.
The rule we were founded on
All products are supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes and are not intended for human or animal consumption. You must be 18 or over to purchase.
